How does Spamrazor work?
Our email security service (including anti-spam and anti-virus) use the MX records for your domain to direct email to MX Spamrazor's distributed network of servers. Our servers scan incoming mail for email-borne threats and place bad mail into quarantine before reaching your server.
Messages that are clean are passed to your server where they are delivered to the inbox.
What are MX Spamrazor's IP addresses?
Our inbound servers should be referenced by name only, you will can find instructions for configuring your MX records on the razor2.spamrazor.net and razor12.spamrazor.net
If you are looking to secure your server by only allowing MX Spamrazor to connect and deliver mail, you can add 203.201.220.166 IP addresses of our delivery servers in trust list.
What if my email server is offline?
In the event that your email server(s) are down or not reachable MX Spamrazor will place incoming mail into a delivery queue.
Messages will be held for up to 5 days, retrying delivery every 15 minutes. Once your server comes back online messages in the queue will be delivered.
What does Spamrazor do when spam is detected?
Traditionally most of the solutions tag the spam mails and send them to your inbox which later you have to filter using processing rules in your POP client. This approach defeats the sole purpose of keeping the uwanted emails and malicious traffic away from your network. Spamrazor quarantines these spam messages and holds them on the antispam server which you can review anytime later within 7 days.
How can we manage our own blacklist and whitelist?
To manage blacklist or whitelist you may login to the control panel and from welcome page go to link W/B list, under this page you can add entry for either whole domain by using @domain.com or a particular email id under blacklist or whitelist.
